PearlGem Designs was born in the summer of 2018—out of creativity, instinct, and a refusal to create anything ordinary. What began as a moment of reinvention for Michelle, newly home with her daughter Sarah, quickly evolved into something more. With Julie’s 20+ years of jewellery design experience behind it, the foundation was already there—what followed was a new direction, a new energy, and a brand with something to say.

Our designs are shaped by global sourcing and a sharp eye for detail. From China, India, and Hong Kong, we work with trusted teams to bring together unique gemstones, pearls, and components—each selected for its character, not perfection.
Our studio is filled with treasures—collected, discovered, and brought home from across the world. Each gemstone, pearl, and component carries its own story, quietly shaping the designs that come to life within our space.
