Sterling Silver
All silver items contain a minimum of .925 silver (the remaining balance is made up of copper). All of our .925 silver items are nickel free.
Gold Filled
Gold filled uses a karat gold overlay which is then bonded to a brass inner core with heat and pressure.
Gold filled is the next level and is an amazing, quality alternative to solid gold.
Gold filled is an actual layer of gold-pressure bonded to brass.
20% of the actual product weight is 14k gold
Gold filled behaves exactly like 14k gold, if you are not allergic to 14k gold, you won't be allergic to gold filled.
Gold Plated Sterling Silver- Vermeil
Means karat gold plated sterling silver or fine silver. It’s regular old gold plating – except the underlying metal is sterling silver of fine silver instead of a base metal, the process is done by electroplating.
Gold or Platinum plated Brass
The base of the product is brass with a electroplating of karat gold.
Pearls
Freshwater and saltwater pearls may sometimes look quite similar, but they come from different sources.
Freshwater pearls form in various species of freshwater mussels, which live in lakes, rivers, ponds and other bodies of fresh water. Most freshwater cultured pearls sold today come from China.
South sea and tahitian pearls grow within pearl oysters, which live in oceans, they usually have a better lustre and are more valuable than freshwater pearls.
In general, the factors that affect the pearl value are: shape, size, colour, lustre, surface quality and nacre quality. The finest quality of natural pearls can be as highly valued as gemstones
Shell Pearls
Shell Pearls are man made by coating a bead in a colored solution of binders and crushed mother of pearl.
